Oh yeh, and I'm looking at enrolling at an Aikido dojo in a few weeks, 'cause it's something I've wanted to get into since I went a couple of times in Darwin. I'm not entirely sure if Aikido is my thing, but being a primarily defensive art it definitely fits my requirements. The dojo I'm looking at has a great reputation, the class hours work with my working hours, and it's also easy to get to from the office. I'll go and just watch a couple of lessons first to see if I really want to do it, which I think I do, and then I'll make a start. So there ya go. Three blogs in one night. I'm out.

my dad started doing aikido when he was 40, he's 56 now and a pretty high dan on his black belt and has been a sensei for 5 years. it's quite graceful to watch and has done wonders for his fitness and a back injury.
