I haven't been blogging much lately 'cause I've been flat out with the whole work and study thing. I get home in the evening and go straight to the gym, and by the time that's over I'm too tired to blog. It's all good though, 'cause I reached another personal goal and now I'm looking at restructuring my fitness programme. I've bulked up a bit, but that's not what I'm after so I'll have to slow down on the weights and have mroe cardio-only days.

I've got my mother and brother down for the break and it's been pretty crazy go nuts trying to fit my life around two other people, particularly when I've got a lot of work to do so I've been in and out of the office and working from the laptop at home. We went up into the mountains on the weekend to celebrate an uncle's birthday and had a Christmas-ish kind of lunch, I think for the people that won't be at the Christmas thing on that day.

On that day I'm going to have to leave home at some ungodly hour to get out to a relative's house for some lunch thing which will consume a good chunk of the day, after which we'll be headed to a different relative's house for a dinner thing and it looks like I won't be home until well into the night. My whole week is a bit of a blur at the moment 'cause I'm trying to fit so many things in. I want to take Mum and bro to the Australian Museum 'cause it's the fucken shiznit. I'm also keen to drag them to the MCA and AGNSW just so that they can see the sort of cool shit we have around here that they are completely lacking back home. I've taken them shopping a few times and I'm trying to give them each a mini makeover with some fashion essentials, but it's really, really hard. I think my next project will be my older brother, who now lives in Sydney also. He'll be a lot easier 'cause I'll be able to keep an eye on him :P

I still don't have any plans for New Years. Some crazy l00ns I know want me to go to some shitty mexican thing. I've looked at a few parties that are on here but they're quite expensive, although the whole Melbourne thing would require airfares. Hmm. It's a last resort I guess. I've also been invited to a couple of house parties and BBQs but I just can't picture myself in someone's backyard of on a balcony somewhere for NYE - I'm usually off my face crawling around on some sticky nightclub floor in the city. Actually a laid back NYE could make for a refreshing change.
