Your goose is cooked. Spent the evening reading web comics after coming home from the gym & doing a really long session of stretches on my bedroom floor. Discovered a couple of new strips, there was a link on aLp for one of them, which in turn had a link for the other. I really wish I could draw. Obviously I'm going to learn some of the fundamentals in the arts subjects within my degree, but I dunno, is it something you can just pick up? It seems to me that to be able to draw as well as these guys I'd have to have started much earlier... I feel the same about my musical & sporting talent, if only I'd not been so lazy when I was younger, maybe I'd be good at something now. I guess I was a good cyclist, but all took takes was repetitive motion - no talent there. I am a pretty good shot, that came naturally, dunno how/why but I just walked into it with the right breathing/pull/follow through... the downside for me was my eyesight, but that corrected itself over time (with the assistance of the most hideous spectacles on the planet) and now my vision is excellent. So I'm considering joining the university rifle club, except that I know what kind of people populate that scene, and I just don't fit in at all... how many other left wing effeminate males with a shopping fetish are into shooting? That aside, I'm looking at the fencing, judo, and taekwando clubs. Can ya tell I'm not really one for the team sports? I think 'cause I'd constantly be in fear of letting the team down, and also that I like playing team sports purely for fun whereas all the other folks playing in the uni clubs will probably be right into it and take it all way too seriously. I guess I could just take the easy option and go for the Spanish club :P
