CSI: Doggystyle.
I'm in a shit mood. I work ridiculously long hours in my job, catching up on work and trying to handle to insane and seemingly random mish-mash of jobs that are allocated to me and added to my job description. I'm on a standard 38 hour contract with the condition that overtime is taken as time-in-lieu instead of being paid. The problem is, I haven't had a chance to take my accrued overtime since September or October last year. I've now work just over four and a half weeks overtime based on hours since then. It shits me to bits when I see people getting up at work and saying 'oh look it's 5:00/5:30/4:30/whatever, time to go home' and they just stop whatever they're doing and leave - management included. There's probably five or six people within our office that actually put in decent hours, yet there's no reward, no commendation, not even recognition. I'm now running just over a month late on a major project, because I wasn't given the resources to even start on it until last week, and was expected to have it done before the weekend. Unfortunately I still have to do the job that my title and position is supposed to cover, so I only get in a few hours of project work each day, hence the staying back.
I'm going to start looking for other work.
Latest from BDSA is fucken hard to read.
I'm hungry, I haven't had dinner, but it's too late to eat.
Ironing, showering, shaving, bed.
