I think it's good that this has been raised as an issue just after I was thinking the same thing the other day. I don't agree with the idea of teaching ethics with a base in religious studies, I'm with the guys who want to offer ethics classes for those who don't attend religious studies.

Do they actually still let churchy groups access vulnerable young minds in Primary/Secondary school?
Teaching ethics though; that's a good idea. I think they should probably teach epistemology as well. Those two things would probably go a long way to producing more responsible, rounded people.
