No excuses, I've just been really fucking lazy.

Darwin was a blast, I didn't actually get around to doing anything that I had planned except for the obligatory trip to the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets. Aside from that, I didn't actually do anything. I spent the entire week bumming around with family... chatting with the adults, mucking around with the kids. The unfortunate outcome of this adventure was the overwhelming feeling of homesickness that started the moment I landed in Sydney, and didn't leave me for more than a week.

So now I'm back at work, I've been coming home earlier & earlier as the days go by, which is fantastic except that I know it's only due to the time of year. In a week or so it'll be all hands again for a few months, I'll have another quiet period around November and then it'll be flat chat once again.

I've almost gotten myself back into a proper gym routine too, although it's been knocked about a little thanks to work (as always) and some other stuff I've been getting up to. Unfortunately I'm coming down with a cold so it looks like I'll be skipping a couple of gym days this week.

I'm heading down to the Dendy tomorrow night to watch the second Sydney installment of the Australian Film Television and Radio School's 2004 National Screening Tour. I wanted to see the shorts that were featuring tonight, but was held back... you guessed it... at work.

Governments must pay more attention to stress in the workplace, writes Allan Fels.
