I spent a good part of today walking around the new Westfield Bondi Junction. Seriously, it's the best shopping centre I've ever seen in my life, and the fucken shit thing is that it's in Bondi Junction (obviously), which is where I have to go to connect to trains/buses/etc if I want to go anywhere, so the temptation to stop in will be there every fucking day. I can tell already that I'm going to be spending a lot of time and even more money in there. Argh! I found the shirt I was looking for last weekend, and discovered that I'm now down to a 40/87, w00t! So anyway it's a french cuff shirt so I had to get some nice cufflinks. Thank god for credit.

I finally bought something for Mum's birthday & Mothers' Day. My housemate told me about a tea store in the city, and considering Mum loves tea it was the perfect place to go. We spent about $40 on a couple of nice teas in their own cool little tea tins, then headed around to other shops to find the other half of the gift... a tea set. Fuck me if a fucken teapot isn't the most difficult thing to buy. All the teapots were for 8/10/12 cups, and we were only looking for a 2-3 cup pot. We found a nice one in Grace Bros but they only had the display model left. We wandered around looking for a different one for a while before deciding to head back over to their new Bondi Junction to check in there, but we stopped at Victoria's Basement on the way to the train station and found and alternative, which I'm going to pick up on my way home tomorrow.

Tomorrow... I'm heading out to have lunch with the rellos, though I have to leave early because I'm going to De La Guarda. Time for bed, long day tomorrow.
