I was discussing the potential purchase of a mac with my housemate yesterday, so I find it an odd coincidence that someone has just done this. I've downloaded the emu, now all I need is an OSX image :P

I was given this link by Astro (R.I.P CyberChiq.com), which discusses the flaws in the Nick Berg video. I'm not sure what to think. One one hand I believe the video is real, someone is beheaded, people are talking in a language I don't understand, the 'flaws' pointed out seem to be subjective, and the report comes across as Yet Another Conspiracy Theory. On the other hand, the background information comes across rather convincingly, the point made about the lack of bleeding is a good one, the fact that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was allegedly killed weeks (or months?) earlier, and the poor quality of the video compared to other authenticated released from Middle Eastern terror groups. Add to that my wish that the video wasn't real, and I'd say I lean more to the latter. I doubt we'll ever know for sure.
