Well it's been a while since I blogged, and fuck I've been busy.
Last saturday I went out to my grandmother's memorial plaque to clean it up and put out some flowers, marking six years since she passed away from cancer. The flowers were daffodils and some really nice orchids that I found in a florist. I was disappointed to see that the ground staff haven't been taking very good care of the plaque, the dirt/gravel under it had shifted or been moved giving the plaque a roughly 30 degree slant. It took about two and a half hours to get there, and just over an hour and a half to get back. My left arm is still sunburnt (just starting to peel now) because it was resting on the passenger side window frame all the way there and back.
Despite waking up feeling really tired on Saturday, I still went to the gym after visiting nan's memorial. I did my resistance workout and some cardio, which all up wasted about one hour and forty five minutes of my day.
After finishing up at the gym I came home for a shower and shave before heading out to Ingleburn for a workmate's housewarming party. I was seriously fucking tired by then and hadn't had anything to eat or drink for a while, so my body was basically a sponge. After downing a six pack of beer and half a bottle of vodka within the space of just over three hours, I was suitably fucked and retired to the bedroom that had been set up for me to stay over. I woke up the next morning sick as a dog and slummed around the house all day with my mate and his wife, went back to bed for a while, watched the Accenture Triathlon Series in Perth on the TV for a while before heading down to the good ol' Ingleburn RSL club for a feed. Fuck that was funny. Scarey people there. Yee-haw! Anyway I went back to teh people's house and we watched Unbreakable before calling it a night. Came home at about quarter past eight on Monday morning, got changed etc and got into work at about twenty minutes to ten.
Monday night I had my first Spanish class, there's heaps of hawt sheilas in my class, and a couple of blokes that're in it just to pick up (it's fucken obvious). Our teacher is pretty awesome and I'm doing the class with a bloke from work so yeh it should be pretty easy. It's just fundamentals so don't expect me to start blogging in Spanish or anything eh :P
Tuesday = work, then gym at night. I did just over one and a half hours of cardio before heading home for dinner then heading to bed relatively early.
Today = work, then my second Spanish class. have homework etc, it's looking like I've made the right decision about the course, I'm picking it up well. If I still like it in a couple of week, I'll definately do it through the rest of the year. r0x0r.
/me is now listening to Pink - Family Portrait. I like this song. Pink is cool. She's heaps h0t too.
I'm so fucking tired now, but I really wanted to blog tonight :P I've got a big day at work tomorrow, I've been given another section of the company's business to look after, and we're looking at offloading some of my less thought intensive work onto a clerical/processing staff member. I'll be fucken stoked when that happens because I'll be able to concentrate solely on the part of my job that I'm actually interested in! Wheeeee!
I haven't looked at peoples blogs in ages.
How awesome is it that Australia is exporting camels to the Middle East? It's kinda weird too, considering the huge differences in habitat... the only unifying factor is heat :P
Check out this comic. r0lf! I think it was Shrike or someone that posted that a few days ago but I never got around to posting it :P
Go here and read about 'Janice'. Be scared. There are people like that at my work too.
